My trip with Fat Girls Travel Too! to Cuba, has been by far the most incredible and life changing week of my life. Let me start by saying, I had never traveled outside the country and to say I was nervous was bit of an understatement. But let me tell you, Ashley and her team has EVERYTHING under control. You need not worry about a thing. Every detail is planned out and you don’t have to think about a thing. Beyond amazing accommodations and thoughtful, well planned, fulfilling experiences... the connections made with the fellow travelers and people of Cuba has forever changed my life. Cuba! Where do I begin...My first experience traveling with Fat Girls Travel Too. This was an amazing trip with the most wonderful group of individuals. From the start, the trip was very well organized, and communication was great. She planned incredible excursions and gave us more than enough downtime to relax. Fat Girls Travel Too was my first travel tour group, here's why it should be your first too. First of all, because traveling is taking up space in spaces that aren't meant for big girls. That needs to change period! It is so refreshing to know that this travel experience will be a safe and fun space where everyone wants you to live your best life and eat whatever the heck you want! Keep it in your budget though, because all we catching 2020 is flights.  I went on the Cuba tour because 1: I didn't know how to navigate the whole Visa process. 2: I didn't know how the whole currency and zero dollar policy would work when I've been so spoiled in paying with plastic. Cuba is a cash only experience y'all! 3: I wanted beach days and mojitos with my fat ass in calm waters with no judgement. Guess what? I got all of the above covered AND MORE. We got to create a very beautiful and fun experience with locals and the girls on the trip all had nothing but knowledge to share and gain. It was definitely one of my most memorable adventures and want you to experience it too. - Cinny R. 

This was my first trip with Fat Girls Travel, Too! and my first group trip. Ashley and Natalie curated a very meaningful itinerary and one that encouraged the group to learn and experience the history and unique culture of Cartagena and it’s people. The experiences were a perfect blend of education, culture, fun, art, and food. Our guide Marlon was phenomenal. He made sure that we got to experience as much of Cartagena as possible, from stopping to buy local fare at roadside stands to giving us important cultural and historical knowledge, no matter what activity we were doing or where we were. I asked him in passing one day about sloths in the city. He of course gave me a wonderful and educational answer and I thought he would leave it at that. Several days later though, without any additional questions or prompting from me, he unexpectedly took us to a park and showed us the sloths and we met their keeper who was also a wealth of knowledge. This is just one small example of how thoughtful and considerate he was throughout our entire trip. I am also thankful for the women in our group, who played a huge part in making the trip as amazing as it was. Spending time with and getting to know everyone just made the trip that much more fun and meaningful. Cartagena has my heart, and I am forever grateful to Marlon, Ashley, Natalie, Nanthale, Nidhi, Rachelle, Val, and Deon. Can’t wait to travel with you all again! - Meagan H.
